Dear Dear Connolly family & friends, I was so sincerely shocked to hear of Martins passing. For the short time I was in SB, Martin made it feel like home, like I had a family there. He was always quick with a kind word, beautiful smile & a big hug. He had such an enormously generous heart & the ability to make you feel loved and at home with just a smile. He was one of the kindest, most beautiful people I was honored to know. I will truly miss him. My heart breaks for all who knew and loved him.... I hope there is comfort in knowing he is with his beautiful mom and that we wil all see him again someday. Love & Hugs, ~Natasha Charlesworth

As many have said, there are no words to express the sadness and disbelief. We trust that your memories will sustain you during this very difficult time and that the love of the Connolly family will forevor envelop Caitlin. We only met Martin a few times, but know Michelle well, and know by her actions of kindness, love and unselfishness (selfless) and the grace she lives by, we are sure her brothers all do the same. Martin will be missed by so many but will live on in all of the many people he has touched along his journey with us. May God Bless and hold you all. We take comfort in knowing that he is now with their very loving mother, together watching over all. Many prayers, thoughts and love to you all. Henry, Kerry, Leslee Nell & Chandler Zenich

Martin and all of the Connolly's he left behind....I am so sorry for your loss, all of our loss...you were so lucky to have him has a son, brother, cousin, uncle and most of all "Father to Caitlin" and I was fortunate to call him my friend. I know Martin had reasons that none of us will probably ever understand and I hope he has found the peace he was looking for. I know he watching over all of us and maybe even thinking...why did I do this...I had so many people....more than even "I" (Martin) thought that were there for me....All of the FB postings, and pictures and videos of Martin and his daugther Caitlin and all of his friends are truly a testament to the man Martin was and will always be, forever now in our hearts and memories. I miss you and your smile and laughter.... you always did brighten up the room...when the least expected....there you were....Going to miss that....already do...Love you and may your family find comfort in the loving memories they hold deep in their hearts now and forever! Michelle and family. Blake and I have both known Martin since we were kids. In particular, I remember him from Alpine Drive and a couple of summers tying not to get into too much mischief while some of our parents weren't home... Martin was full of life, which makes it hard to believe he's gone so young. I am so sorry for your loss and I can only pray that the many wonderful memories you have of him will quickly replace the sadness. With our deepest sympathy, Karen and Blake Reynolds

Dear Connolly Family, I am so sorry for the loss of Martin, especially at such a young age. Though I haven't seen him in a few years, my memories are many, of fun times with the family gatherings, his sweet smile, kindness to everyone, and sense of humor. My prayers are to all he had to leave, but an extra hug to his little girl and his dear father, Tony. I find some comfort in knowing he is now with his sweet, sweet mother, Pauline. My love and prayers to you all, xoxo

To Martin's family, I worked with Martin at Signal Construction when he was a foreman there. I quickly grew fond of Martin; it was hard not to. I will always treasure the friendship we had. We shared in common the trait of "wearing our heart on our sleeve" as the expression goes. In a short amount of time, we shared alot about our life's experiences. I always looked forward to him walking through the door. Always with a positive and kind word, always with a sense of humor. As it turned out, he had gone to Dos Pueblos High with my husband, Mark, and they knew each other. Over the years after we left Signal Construction, Martin and I would run into each other in Santa Barbara, and quickly try to catch up. Learning of his passing I was shocked and saddened, and still am. Reading the Facebook postings, it is obvious how many people Martin touched in life who will miss him. That is a testament to the measure of a man, and a life well lived. I pray God will bring you peace during this time. Susie Johnson
